This
evening was meant for fun, both for our members and guests, and
also for the winery principals before their grueling days pouring
at the Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival.
The premise of the event was to allow winemakers
to bring any wine(s) they prefer from their winery, we supply
the food, guests and ambience. The result was a fantastic time
by all in attendance. The food from Whineos Restaurant was top
notch. Various appetizers, such as grilled duck, grilled ahi tuna,
and assorted cheeses were served.
We grazed and talked with the winery principals finding out a
little bit more about their wineries and wines. We had a great
variety of white and red wines. We enjoyed rieslings, sauvignon-semillon
blends, merlot, shiraz, and cabernet sauvignon from the wineries.
In
keeping with the evening's informality, enjoy these pictures and
